Mid-Atlantic Forest Fire Compact Wins Smokey Bear Award

Among the projects of the compact prevention committee is a 4-minute Smokey Bear video designed to teach kids about outdoor fire safety. A collaboration with the Columbus College of Art & Design and the ODNR Division of Forestry, the new Smokey Bear animated video and song, along with other fire prevention materials, are available at the Ohio DNR Division of Forestry.
