FORT WORTH, Texasâ Regency RV announced it is moving its recently acquired National Traveler Class B motorhome production line from Elkhart, Indiana to its manufacturing and corporate headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas, where it will join the production line for Regency’s Ultra Brougham Class B+. The company acquired the National Traveler line, a conversion van based on the Ram ProMaster chassis that features a unique raised roof, from Dolphin Motor Coach last fall.
In a press release, Wayne Davis, owner and founder of Regency RV, sited production efficiencies and maintaining quality control as the primary motivations behind the decision. “This move was made for numerous reasons,” he said. “But the benefits to our dealers and customers include tighter controls over every phase of the production process, expanding upon our team of experienced craftsmen who have been building our award winning coaches thus far, and creating a single source contact location for our dealer partners and vendors.” Regency will debut new new Ultra and National Traveler models at the RVX Show in Salt Lake City next month.
