News Blip: Dreams Should Never Be Forgotten
Stuff.co.nz Reports On Marie Palzer's Courageous Journey And Her Message To Everyone With Dreams That May Seem Unattainable
Adventure horse rider Marie Palzer can truly say she does what makes her happy. In fact she encourages everyone to do the same and to not get discouraged when dreams seem "too big". From Marahau, New Zealand, Marie is a kindergarten teacher who rode her horse Spirit from Farewell Spit to Bluff and back again last year.
Stuff writer Samantha Gee relates in her article: "When Marahau woman Marie Palzer? set out to ride the length of the South Island on horseback, lots of people told her she couldn't do it on her own." Despite the critics, Marie set out on her solo journey and completed what people thought could not be done. She has a meaningful purpose also while embarking on these adventures. The first solo mission helped her to fundraise for Tearfund, to help open and sustain micro-enterprises in third world countries. Palzer wants to encourage others to find their dreams and pursue them.
