The Outdoor Industry Association (OIA), the Boulder-based national interest group for outdoor-recreation businesses, announces its next director for advocating for policies that promote both environmental sustainability and a better economic climate for companies that rely on people wanting to recreate in nature. The new director, Lise Aangeenbrug, was the executive director of the Outdoor Federation, the OIA’s philanthropic arm.
Denver Biz Journal writer, Ed Sealover, relays in his article, "Aangeenbrug said in a news release that she hopes to continue the work of OIA in building collaborative relationships and driving collective action by members of the organization." Lise comments on her promotion, "This is a dream job, and I am excited to collaborate with the outdoor industry and other organizations to build a big tent that leads to powerful action."
