News Blip: Lightweight RV's Are In
East Idaho News Reports On The Upward Direction Of RV Sales In Dealerships Across Eastern Idaho With Mentions To RV & Bish's RV
Although a major portion of households in Eastern Idaho already own RVs, continued sales begin to show for the area as the millennials are beginning to start families and do not want to ride in mommy's and daddy's RV anymore. The used RV market is especially hot this time of year because school is nearly out and summertime means RVing with the family, and used RVs help a family keep extra spending money while on vacation.
East Idaho News writer Carrie Snider relays in her article: "What has changed, though, is what types of RVs people are buying. 'There is a big trend toward lightweight stuff that people can pull with their SUV,' John Hollist, a sales representative at RV, said. Anything with bunk beds always tends to sell well." Another trend is RVs with a kitchen accessibility from the outside. Probably one of the biggest changes in newer models is an auto-leveling system. “You just unhook, push a button, and it auto-levels. If you get a flat tire, or are camping in an unlevel area, you just push a button and it lifts.”
