News Blip: Renovated RV For Moving Family
The Detroit News Reports On Michigan Family Beginning A Six-Week Long Road Trip To California Using A "Pimped Out" RV
Rob and Treger Strasberg from Birmingham, MI are moving to California with their two kids. However, they are not just taking a plane like most. The family is making it into a six-week long vacation and road trip. Customizing their RV, they will be cruising in style. They will even get a bumper sticker form each place they stop at along the way.
Detroit News writer Maureen Feighan speaks with the couple and relays what they had to say about their remodeled RV: “We wanted to customize the RV because we wanted to feel like it was home,” said Treger. “Design plays a large role in our lives and we want to create and appreciate art wherever we are. It is important for us to live a creative life. So of course our camper had to be a glamper.” The RV project took over six months to complete. Once renovation began, the tight space posed other challenges, meaning various trades couldn’t work at the same time.
