CAMBRIDGE, Ontario - The revitalized Roadtrek made its tradeshow debut at the Elkhart Dealer Open House, as the new owners presented six new Roadtrek Class Bs. The models, built on Mercedes Sprinter, Ram ProMaster and Ford Transit chassis, are the first Roadtreks produced since French company Groupe Rapido acquired the bankrupt company earlier this year.
On hand to meet potential dealers were senior management from Groupe Rapido, including President Pierre Rousseau and CEO Nicolas Rousseau, second and third generation of the family-run business which has 13 brands under its corporate umbrella. Members of the North American management team for Roadtrek, including Len McDougall, head of Sales & Service and Karyn Torcoletti, head of Marketing & Communications, were also in Elkhart to answer dealer and supplier questions.
