Hobby, the world’s top producer of caravans, is introducing its new line of van motorhomes at the Caravan Salon 2018 in Düsseldorf, Germany, held from Aug. 24 to Sept. 2, 2018. The Schleswig-Holstein based manufacturer offers its VANTANA models in two sizes and three different equipment variants for the 2019 season. The VANTANA Ontour, De Luxe and Premium differ in their engine specifications, equipment packages and exterior design. All three are available in a 6 metre (19.7 ft.) length with double rear bed, and 6.36 metre (20.9 ft.) with two single beds. The compact washroom has been modernized and redesigned. Caravanning owners can control numerous functions within the van remotely with the new HobbyConnect and the free “MyHobby” smartphone apps.
“With the three VANTANA model ranges, our focus is now on all target groups – regardless of age,” Hobby division manager Manfred Taedcke said in a press release. “The demand for vans is on the rise; with the Ontour, De Luxe and Premium, we have created exceptionally smart and practical all-rounder vehicles.”
