Luxury London Reports On Action Photographer Martin Hartley And How He Got To Where He Is Today Working With Media Such As NY Times & BBC
Martin Hartley has a rough appearance given a first impression. His features are shaped by all the experiences he has encountered as a polar photographer traveling around the world. He is a leading adventure photographer that has gained global recognition for his work. His first time in front of a camera was as a child after getting a present for Christmas. After shooting his first roll of film, Martin eventually grew to love the outdoors and taking photos.
Luxury London writer Hugh Francis Anderson describes in his article: "In 1999, [Hartley] embarked on his second major expedition to an unclimbed mountain range in the Eastern Pamirs, Kyrgyzstan. It was for this trip that he first secured corporate sponsorship." After learning he could get compensated for his trips and photos, it all came together. Martin was doing what he loved and could make a living off it. However, traveling to places where the temperature is -710C cannot be defined as love per se.
