Newmar Kountry Klub International RV Rally Draws Crowds

The 2018 Newmar Kountry Klub International Rally was held in Gillette, Wyoming at the CamPlex Multi Events Facilities June 25-30. The event is open to all Kountry Klub members. The Newmar Kountry Klub is an exclusive club for owners of Newmar recreational vehicles all over the United States and Canada. Of all the people in the 450 Newmar motorhomes, RVs and luxury motor coaches that have taken over the Cam-plex grounds, possibly no one is more excited to be in Gillette than Tony Tamble.
According to the article by Patrick Filbin of Gillette News Record via Wyoming News Exchange, "Tamble and his wife are recently retired ranchers. They’ve ranched everywhere from Colorado to southern California to Oregon and Washington." And last weekend he and his family were in Gillette, Wyoming for the rally. Though the Newmar Kountry Klub International RV rally hosted by CamPlex is supposed to last about a week, Tamble said CamPlex gave him permission to stay put until July 5 so he and his wife can enjoy the Fourth of July celebration and spend more time in Gillette. To buy his Newmar, he and his wife sold pretty much everything they own, liquidated the farm and what was left of their horses and cattle. The article continues to explain, "RV manufacturing is a $50 billion industry in America, and 80 percent of RVs are made in Indiana." What’s also interesting is who is making these vehicles. “A lot of the manufacturers who are making these big rigs are Amish and Mennonites,” said an attender of the international rally.
