A recent movement amongst RV and mobile home enthusiast has sprung up safety concerns from the RV industry. The Canadian Recreational Vehicle Association says that the RV industry follows strict safety codes and regulations that tiny home builders might not. “There’s certain insulation and fireproofing that an RV must have versus a modular home or a normal residence. If somebody is living in it year round it would have a different code.” They even go as far to say that these tiny homes might set on fire or explode when brought onto a campground.

They are 100 per cent safe.” He says these statements aren’t surprising since the RV industry gets their money from RV manufacturers.
