ALBANY, N.H. - Huttopia, a network of glamping getaways with sites throughout France as well as in Quebec, Canada, expanded operations this summer at its first location in the United States. Huttopia White Mountains, located near Conway, N.H., now offers accommodations in signature Trapper tents inspired by the lodgings of Canadian fur trappers. The canvas tents on a wooden platform offer two separate sleeping areas for up to five people, a private bathroom and shower, electricity and a kitchen area with a stove, fridge and sink. Other accommodation options include two more modest tent models as well as cabins. An Airstream on-site serves crepes, handcrafted pizza and ice cream. Other amenities at the New Hampshire camp located beside a lake include a heated pool, SUP and canoe rentals, and a variety of family activities.
Huttopia expects to add locations in California, New York and Maine within the next two years. “We see a need for more locations as a growing number of people crave an up-close experience with nature without the fuss of traditional camping,” Nash Abdrabo, CEO of Huttopia’s North American operations, said in a press release. “We are excited about our mission to make the outdoors more accessible to all and hope this will lead to greater respect for nature.”
