Herald Net Reports On Mountaineering Legend, Lowell Skoog, Who Talks About The Stories That Inspired Him And His Career
Northwest mountaineering legend, Lowell Skoog, tells his story on the things that inspired him throughout his career and kept him going despite tragedies in his past. Skoog, now a 60 year old retired software engineer, began his endeavors since he was a little boy.
As Herald Net writer Megan Brown quotes in her article: “Mountaineering has a very rich literature, in terms of storytelling,” Skoog said. “There’s a lot of interesting stories and interesting personalities. You find that sometimes there are connections between people who love the outdoors and other parts of our community. It’s a little bit like people who love the Seahawks. You find people from all corners. It’s a great way to get outside, see beautiful places.”
