WINK News reports on a new Class A Motor Coach Resort opening in Southwest Florida called River Landings. The new community, called River Landings, looks more like a country club than an RV Park. Rick , the developer, said it is exactly what Southwest Florida was missing.
WINK News writer Micheal More relates in his article, "The idea is when it gets cold up north and friends and family want to visit, they could just stay in the guest house." With all the new communities and homes that keep popping up in the rest of Lee County, those that live here like Katie and Walter Adams said the luxurious price is worth it. The Adams are now choosing to stay more in the countryside of Southwest Florida where parts of this largely rural area is a little slice of luxury. "It’s quiet,” Katie said. “It’s really kind of nice and quiet where you can get away from it. But it’s close enough that you want the activity you can get the activities." Some said having a mobile park like this could even grow this part of the county. "I think it will make it more attractive,” Walter said. “I think and encourage the development in this area."
