The Daily Progress Reports On An Old Trail In Claremore That Has Been Restored Once More By Oklahoma Residents
Oklahoma residents have taken the initiative to clean up Claremore Lake Park and restore its trails once again. One person, Rory Peterson, took it upon himself to continue building on top of the first cleanup the area received two years ago and extended the trail to 4 miles with the help of other volunteers.
As The Daily Press writer Mary Pryor quotes in her article: “It's great to see that people realize we have a special place to enjoy the outdoors and develop a healthy lifestyle,” Peterson said. “It’s wonderful to witness the transformation along Lake Claremore as an area that used to be a place people would dump trash into a pristine wilderness trail that invites visitors to enjoy this great location.”
