A Nomadic Family Who Lives And Travels In Their RV While Experiencing The Great Outdoors
The Veltkamp family has been on a never ending vacation for over a year. The family has visited the Pacific Coast, Southwest, Florida and more. When it comes to deciding how long to stay at each location, the family says it depends on how much they like it.
As Michigan Live writer Jim Harger relates in his article: "Scott works from an office in the 35-foot RV with the door closed. The rest of the family will focus on school work, sometimes going on field trips to the library or a museum when dad is busy, says Kate. After hours, the couple enjoys hiking and exploring the area where they have parked their home – usually at a state or national park."
