Camping World Continues Brand Expansion With RV SuperCenters

Camping World Holdings, the nation’s leading outdoor and camping retailer, continues to grow its presence with the recently announced acquisition of Spader’s RV Center located in Sioux Falls and New Prairie RV Southtown located in Worthing, South Dakota. They join Camping World’s RV SuperCenter in the Rapid City area, giving the retailer three locations within the state.
The company is also expanding its footprint in Arkansas, with the acquisition of River City Recreation World in the Little Rock area. It joins Camping World’s two previous locations in Lowell and North Little Rock, Arkansas. Headquartered in Lincolnshire, Illinois, Camping World is in a rapid growth phase, with the stated goal of extending its RV SuperCenter network throughout the country during 2018. The company’s total revenues were up nearly 33 percent in the Fourth Quarter of 2017, according to a company press release.
“We will actively pursue opportunities in our existing markets over the next few years to expand market share, grow our database and add additional distribution points for our products and services,” said Brent Moody, Chief Operating Officer of Camping World Holdings. Camping World’s stock is traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol CWH.
