The Denver Post Reports On RV Owners Who Make Traveling Decisions Based On Their Pets, Especially Their Dogs
Many RV owners refuse to leave their pets at home, and therefore, decide to take them along on the road. The most common are dogs, but also include cats, birds and more. When making decisions on which RV to buy, owners usually make the final decision based on their pets comfort.
As The Denver Post writer Danika Worthington relates in her article: “I’ve had people buy an RV based on whether they can fit their dogs and cats into it,” Tom Alexander, area manager for Wheat Ridge-based Trailer Source, said Friday at the annual Colorado RV Adventure Travel Show in the Colorado Convention Center downtown. “They’ll choose floor plans around” their pets, said James Paredes, general sales manager at Lazydays, one of the nation’s largest RV sellers. “If there’s not a spot for Muffy — ‘What other floor plans do you have?'”
