Tradeshow To Focus On Campground Owners' Success
The 3-Day Conference Held At Dover Downs Casino Hotel Will Feature Speakers, Seminars & Expo With The Theme: “Focus On The Future”.

Campground owners and managers from Delaware, Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey and New York have all registered for the 27th Annual Mid-Atlantic States Conference and Trade Show, March 12 to 14 in Dover, Delaware. The 3-day conference being held at Dover Downs Casino Hotel will feature speakers, seminars, and a Trade Show on the Tuesday of the conference. The conference theme is “Focus On The Future” with 11 informative seminars that will help campground owners have a successful 2018 season. The Trade Show has about 30 exhibitors featuring products for campground and RV park owners. The Trade Show will have show specials and discount pricing for those in attendance. There is still exhibit space available at the Trade Show for any vendor who may be interested in participating. Contact the NJCOA office directly for more details. The Monday lunch will feature a keynote address by Katie Denis, Vice President of the US Travel Association on the US Travel initiative PROJECT: Time Off. On Tuesday, Karen Redfern, Vice President, RVIA, Brand Marketing will be giving an update on RVIA marketing activities including the Go Camping America campaign. Nicole Poisson, Franchise Development Manager for Kampgrounds of America will be the guest speaker at the Tuesday evening banquet.
The educational seminars are scheduled throughout the day on Monday and on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. The annual auction will be held on Tuesday evening and there is still an opportunity for companies to donate an item for the auction. According to Joann DelVescio, Executive Director of NJCOA and the Conference Coordinator “The conference is meant to be an educational opportunity for campground owners as well as a great networking event’”. Both evening dinners are fun events where attendees including the exhibitors, are invited to socialize, share stories, reconnect with old friends and make new”, she continued. The conference will close out on Wednesday late morning with a Cracker Barrel led by Judy LaPorta of Little Oaks Campground.
