Regency RV recently announced its acquisition the National Traveller, a Class B conversion van and RV product line built by Dolphin Motor Coach. The National Traveller is built upon the Ram® ProMaster chassis, which allows for both a comfortable highway driving experience, as well as an easy transition for more rugged off-road driving conditions.
In a press release, Regency RV CEO Wayne Davis states: “We are excited to add the National Traveller brand to our company. The unit will complement our current motorhome offerings and allow us to provide an innovative, luxurious and high-quality vehicle to all Class B segments.” The company stated the market for Class B motorhomes has been strong the past several years, growing at a 30 percent rate in 2017 and up 33 percent in 2018. Regency RV currently builds the Xalta (a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter based Class B), the Ultra Brougham (a Sprinter-based B-plus), and the Concept One. The National Traveller was created with the same focus and direction as Regency and will continue to be manufactured in its current facility located in Elkhart, Indiana.
