In an announcement issued on March 16, Newmar Corp. President Matt Miller notified attendees that the company was canceling its 2020 Dealer Meeting, which had been scheduled for March 30-April 1 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.
Alternatively, Newmar, a Nappanee, Ind.-based subsidiary of Winnebago Industries Inc., is working on host a virtual dealer meeting instead. “Our plans are to conduct a live webcast from Newmar’s state-of-the-art service center sometime during the dates this meeting was to be held,” Miller was quoted in a press release. Although details are still being finalized for the online broadcast, including the specific date, time and planned duration, Miller said he will share Newmar’s vision for the future while John Sammut, the company’s vice president of sales, will highlight many of the “exciting changes and innovations designed and engineered into the Newmar 2021 product lineup of motorhomes.”
