Jellystone Expands Its Network With Prospective Owners Workshop

MILFORD, Ohio - The Jellystone Park network, ranked among the top 100 franchises in the country by Franchise Gator and number one in the campground category in 2017 and 2018 by Entrepreneur magazine, has scheduled its annual Prospective Owners Workshop for Sept. 15-16 at the Jellystone Park in Tabor City, N.C. The two-day workshop is designed for people thinking of buying or building a campground as well those with existing campground whose owners who are considering converting their park to the Jellystone model. With more than 80 franchises across the nation, the Leisure Systems, Inc. owned Jellystone Parks are among the most profitable campground chains with typical locations averaging 11 percent year-over-year growth.
“We design these workshops to help prospective park operators determine if owning and operating a Jellystone Park is the right fit for them,” Kelly Jones, Leisure Systems’ vice president of operations, said in a press release. Presenters at the two-day event include veterans of ARVC’s National School of RV Park and Campground Management, as well as finance and insurance company representatives.
The Prospective Owners Workshop costs $350 per couple, which includes two nights in a luxury cottage; lunch on Saturday; a campfire and social on Saturday night; and a two-hour tour of the award-winning Tabor City Jellystone Park guided by the park’s general manager.
