Britain's first tailor made motorhome will be up for auction in September starting at 40,000 Pounds at auctioneers Bonhams Goodwood Revival sale. This motorhome hasn't been touched since its owner, Captain Dunn, died in 1940.
As Mirror writer Barnaby Kelloway relates in his article: "The unique vehicle was created by naval aristocrat Captain Dunn, from Bexhill-on-Sea, who shipped a Pontiac Six chassis over from America in 1935 and engaged local coach builders to craft a bespoke home from home on the back. He then set off into the British countryside behind the wheel of his new creation."
