BRANFORD, Fla. - Two meetings were held at The Branford Town Council recently regarding change to the town. One a special meeting workshop in the last week of January and a regularly-scheduled meeting in the middle of February. The special meeting covered many topics regarding land development and the building of new structures in the Town of Branford.Jasper News writer, Andrew Escobar, relays in his article, "The first of such topics was the building of a new RV park on property that’s partly within the town limits and the rest being in Suwannee County. The proprietor of the land, Leroy Cummings, is wanting to annex his property, so that the whole lot is within the town limits." The last thing discussed in the special meeting was the building of a new firehouse garage for the Branford Volunteer Fire Department.
