Treehugger Reports On A Couple Who Has Converted A School Bus Into Their Own Mobile Home While Traveling And Working
Will Hitchcock and Alyssa Pelletier of Outside Found have converted a school bus into a mobile home. The idea came about when the young couple decided they wanted to go on adventures without being constricted by their work or location. So they moved from San Francisco to Colorado, launched their tech company, and hit the road in their new mobile home.
As Treehugger writer Kimberley Mok relates in her article: The couple found the 38-foot-long bus on Craigslist, and despite not having any construction experience, began the task of making it into a cozy home. It wasn't easy, says Alyssa: "Will and I worked on the bus every day for almost four months, and not a day went by that we didn't have some sort of unique challenge to overcome."
