Arizona Game and Fish's Outdoor Expo Offers Something Special for Educators

The Outdoor Expo is the Arizona Game and Fish Department's annual event to highlight wildlife and outdoor recreation. The Outdoor Expo, occurring on March 30-31, 2019, is offering something special for educators. They will be hosting Educator Information Sessions throughout the weekend for an opportunity to learn more about the Department's education programs. It takes place March 30-31 at the Ben Avery Shooting Facility in north Phoenix. It is great for families.
The AZ Game & Fish Dept hosts the expo and it's one of the largest in the country and free to attend. Teachers and educators will have access to resources for learning about: Expert speakers available from the US Forest Service; scholarship opportunities from the Arizona Elk Society; field trips to the International Wildlife Museum; and teacher training opportunities to help celebrate 100 years of Grand Canyon National Park.
Professional development credit can also be earned by those who qualify. The Educator Information Sessions are free to attend. However, registration is highly encouraged in order to guarantee enough materials. Learn more and register here.
