The Topeka Capital Journal Reports On New Outdoor Center Proposal In Kansas That Is Currently Under Consideration
There is a new proposal on the table that would bring adventure and excitement to Kansas; the creation of an outdoor center. This outdoor center would be built on Clinton Lake State Park's property and is expected to attract many millennials to the area.
As The Topeka Capital Journal writer Josh Rouse relates in his article: "A nearly $70 million outdoor recreational center planned for the area, which would be called the Kansas Outdoor Center, would include a man-made whitewater rafting and kayaking facility, zip lines, rock climbing, a trail system, an outdoor amphitheater, restaurants, a $1.5 million beer garden and a conference center."
