Travel Lite, a towables and truck camper manufacturer, debuted a model of its new Evoke X Series travel trailer that will be available for sale mid-January 2019 at this year's RV Dealers Convention/Expo at Paris Las Vegas. The Evoke X Series is basically a shorter version of the Evoke line. RVBusiness speaks with Dustin Johns, president of Travel Lite RV, about the development of the new line.
“I took a lot of time developing the Evoke – nine months – and there are a lot of industry firsts,” Johns told RVBusiness.com. “It’s the most aerodynamic travel trailer market on the market right now, and the fact that we have the wheels protruding from the body is innovative. At 102 inches, it literally has a wider wheel stance than the 8-foot wide body. We took it to the legal limit, which makes it more stable and sturdy for the towing. We’re the first to do that.” More info released about the Evoke was that every unit is undergoing a PDI by an independent company prior to being shipped to dealers, and Travel Lite is adding an optional five-year warranty – no exclusions except for normal wear and tear – that dealers can offer customers in place of the standard one-year warranty.
