Updating and engaging new areas with new infrastructure especially with RV enthusiasts is a growing trend, especially in areas involving snowbirds and the greater Florida area. Elite Resorts recently announced the development of a new Guy Harvey Outpost located near Tarpon Springs, Florida.
Per Elite Resorts' Press Release:
"Elite Resorts, manager of premier RV resorts in Florida and Connecticut, announced its second Guy Harvey Outpost RV Resort project in unveiling its plans to develop an upscale resort-style RV community near Tarpon Springs targeted to angling and RV enthusiasts. Earlier this year, Guy Harvey Outpost and Elite Resorts joined forces to redevelop Lake Okeechobee's popular Okee-Tantie park into a bucket list location for today's generation of RVers, campers, fishermen and hunters.
According to Ed Mayer, President of Elite Resorts, the $15 million, 46-acre Tarpon Springs project will be located just north of Tarpon Springs in Pasco County, between the popular Anclote Parks on the Anclote River and Gulf of Mexico.
The RV community will feature 340 brick paved RV lots and a full complement of resort style amenities. The lots, which will all offer 100 amp service to accommodate larger RVs, will be available for sale with a Phase I offering in the fall of 2016.
"With RV sales increasing for the fifth consecutive year and some 10 million RVers on the road, the demand for upscale, amenitized parks is huge," said Mayer, who has already sold 150 lots at Elite's popular Citrus Valley community in Clermont, Florida, near Orlando and the Disney parks.
In confirming their commitment to the growing outdoor hospitality market, Guy Harvey Outpost Resorts President Mark Ellert said, "the addition of Tarpon Springs and Lake Okeechobee RV locations opens up our Outpost brand of family-focused vacations built around outdoor adventure and sport fishing to a new universe of outdoor enthusiasts."
