Winter Camping Available In Cumberland Gap

The National Park Service will keep Wilderness Road Campground in Cumberland Gap National Historical Park open this winter under a new adaptive management policy. The 160-site campground, located near Ewing, Virginia off Highway 58, has both dry and electric sites (20/30/50 amps) available and can accommodate rigs up to 50 feet. Potable water and hot showers are available at the comfort stations. Campsites are available on a first come first served basis and cost $13 per night for a site with no electricity, $20 for a power site.
