OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. - Tanglefoot RV Park, will be closed permanently to be transformed into a community park in Spring Lake, Michigan. Tanglefoot Park operated as a 30-space recreational vehicle park, until it was closed earlier in the year due to sewer work in the area. The estimated cost of the park transformation would cost around $3 million to 3.5 million. Lynn Moore of Mlive.com, relays in her article "Community meetings held to brainstorm ideas for future uses of the park have come up with a kayak launch, fire pit, bike path and improvements to docks for transient use, Spring Lake Village Manager Christine Burns said." Tanglefoot Park had operated from April to October. The work to renovate the park is projected to begin in 2021. To read more on the fate of Tanglefoot Park, click here.
