Outessa Summit is a program that strives to make women's outdoor dreams come true by taking them into the wild to face their fears and experience a trip of a lifetime. A lot of times, life or our own excuses can get in the way of these adventures, and Outessa's goal is to help overcome whatever is holding it's members back.
As Deseret News writer Amy Donaldson relates in her article: "All weekend, women confronted fears and chased dreams. They put up tents, built fires, kayaked, climbed rock cliffs, hiked mountains and rode bikes. They shared camping recipes and workout secrets and information about nutrition. They watched sunsets, enjoyed campfires and laughed like they were little kids. Some wanted new outdoor adventures, while others sought help turning a hobby into a lifestyle."
