RVIA announced that the new RV Technical Institute, which has its official debut during this year’s Elkhart Open House, will offer a free troubleshooting course for technicians during the show. Gary Bunzer, who presented a similar program to a packed crowd at the Hershey show, will present the three-and-a-half-hour course Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 1 to 4:30 p.m. No registration is required and technicians can drop in for any session.
Bunzer, known as the RV Doctor, is known for his positive open-minded approach to RV troubleshooting and repair, saying that the attitude technicians have as they approach troubleshooting makes the difference between a mediocre RV repair and an outstanding one. The course will cover major issues of troubleshooting, including the nine core values a winning team needs, three keys for cooperation, ways to minimize mistakes, the four major phases of consequential troubleshooting, truths about creativity, and more.
