Believe News Democrat Reports On O'Fallon Resident Who Is Starring In A Digital Survival Reality TV Show Called Hacking The Wild
Digital survivalist and former O'Fallon resident, Andrew Quitmeyer, is starring in a new reality TV show called "Hacking the Wild". The purpose is for Quitmeyer to invent survival tools out of other devices and will take place in Alaska, Hawaii, California's Death Valley, and Louisiana's swamp.
As Believe News Democrat writer Teri Maddox relates in the article: The reality TV show is based on his dissertation at Georgia Tech and his “hiking hacks,” which involved building survival tools out of laptops or other electronic devices in the wilderness. In an email, Andrew described filming as “intense and crazy.”
