News Blip: Surfer Torn Between Passions
Surfer.com Reports On Founder Of Sagebrush Surf Bags Anna Ehrgott And Her Journey From Surfing To Photography To Entrepreneur
Surfer at heart, Anna Ehrgott has found a way to benefit from doing what she loves. After an accident that made it near impossible to surf, she picked up photography. She soon fell in love with capturing friends in the water mastering the waves. Even after she recovered, she stayed taking photos and built up a social media brand for her work.
Surfer.com writer Melia Grasska relates in her article: "Her talent as a surfer, her eye as a photographer, and her clever use of film created her own social media brand that soon attracted sponsors." With more time devoted to her photography and people becoming more interested, it inspired her to create what is now known as Sagebrush Board Bags. New sponsorships meant more surf trips, and Anna needed a board bag. She wanted one with more support than a sock that wasn’t as heavy-duty as a travel bag, but she couldn’t find one that satisfied her needs. So then came her "Aha" moment.
