News Blip: Parking Ordinance For Recreational Vehicles?
KSBW8 Reports On A Possible Ban Of Overnight Parking When It Comes To Oversize Vehicles In The Streets Of Pacific Grove
If you are an RV owner and a house owner, you may want to park your vehicle where you can see it without hassle. After all, you spent hard earned money to enjoy the benefits that come along with owning a motorhome or travel trailer. A possible ban on overnight parking of oversize vehicles in Pacific Grove, California may change all that.
KSBW8 writer Caitlin Conrad relates in her article: "An ordinance that went before the City Council [in early October] would ban the parking of any vehicle or trailer 22 feet or longer in length between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. RV owners in Pacific Grove are not happy about the proposed ban and some admit it may force them to sell their vehicles." The main concern is that these vehicles can reduce visibility for drivers and are a potential hazard for other cars and pedestrians.
