Stuff's Colleen Hawkes Reports On New Zealand Couple Who Have Been Living In Their RV For 23 Years
Christine and Sam Carter from New Zealand have been living in their RV for 23 years now. This all started as a trip, but later turned into a lifestyle. "We thought we would be away for just a couple of years," says Christine Carter. "But we fell in love with the lifestyle.
The reason behind it is because living in an RV gives them the possibility of being flexible and spontaneous; not to mention, you can take your house wherever you go. Christine then continues to mention the other benefits of living in an RV. “No registrations, no power bills, no camp grounds – we freedom camped everywhere. We came home from time to time to keep up with family, but in reality this lifestyle choice was a no-brainer. Why keep working full-on for what?”
