According to the Register-Herald's article a brand new portable roller coaster, the third largest portable coaster in the country, is making its debut at the State Fair of West Virginia on August 9-18 at the State Fair Event Center. “It has four levels and three quarters of a mile in track,” said Jeff Alberts, safety supervisor for Reithoffer Shows. “It has one drop, a 34-foot drop. It is 46-feet tall. It is all new LED lighting with power coated paint. It is the third largest portable roller coaster in the country. It is expected to be great.”
Rebecca Rhudy from the Register-Herald relays what Alberts had to say on some of the questions everyone is thinking when they hear about a portable roller coaster: "You can run the cars faster and a little more safely. With this roller coaster, we can have more people ride so the lines aren’t so long," he says. The new roller coaster is yet to have a name, but those who plan to ride at the fair may be able to help with that. Alberts said the roller coaster itself will have two different types of safety equipment for riders. It comes with a lap bar that comes across your stomach area, and then an over-the-shoulder seat belt for extra safety.
