Lewis River RV Park residents may sue the property owner in an effort to force him to provide power to them, according to an attorney representing a group of about 30 park households. Residents are ready to ask a judge to direct Jerry Reeves to put the utility account into his name in a 2 p.m. hearing Thursday, said Northwest Justice Project senior attorney Lisa Waldvogel, who represents the newly-formed Lewis River Homeowner’s Association. If Reeves opens an account before then, Waldvogel said, “then we won’t need to go to court.”The Daily News writer, Alex Bruell, covers in his article, "Residents at the park have been in limbo for weeks due to a complex legal dispute between Reeves, who owns the Woodland-area property, and John Berman, the attorney representing the estate of Reeve’s late ex-wife." In the meantime, conditions at the park are growing worse because of the ownership dispute. Losing power would mean also losing water service, Waldvogel said, because the park is supplied by an electrically-powered well. To read more on Lewis River RV Park, click here.
