Ford Debuts 2020 Super Duty Pickup

DALLAS, Texas - Ford announced the latest models in its F-Series, the best-selling truck in America for the past 42 years. The new 2020 F-Series Super Duty offers “the most available diesel towing, payload, torque and power you can get in a heavy-duty pickup,” according to Mike Pruitt, Super Duty chief engineer. For 2020, maximum towing capacity increases across the entire Super Duty pickup series – F-250, F-350 and F-450, offering best-in-class diesel fifth-wheel towing of 32,500 pounds and conventional towing of 24,200 pounds with the 475 hp Power Stroke diesel V8. Gas-powered engine options include the all-new 430 hp 7.3-liter V8 and standard 6.2-liter gas engine. All engine types are available with the all-new 10-speed heavy-duty TorqShift automatic transmission. Also available with the 2020 Super Duty is the Tremor Off-Road Package with maximum towing of up to 15,000 pounds for conventional trailers and 21,900 pounds for gooseneck trailers with the diesel engine. F-Series trucks also can be equipped with exclusive Pro Trailer Backup Assist and Trailer Reverse Guidance technology that can be used with conventional, fifth-wheel and gooseneck trailers. The FordPass Connect embedded 4G LTE modem with Wi-Fi access for up to 10 devices comes standard in the F-Series, while Lane-Keeping Alert, Blind Spot Information System with Trailer Coverage, and Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking are standard on XLT and above models.
