Cliffs of the Neuse State Park has opened a new campground, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Cliffs of the Neuse. Park officials from the Cliffs of the Neuse along with state officials met recently in front of the new bath house for the official event. The current family campground at Cliffs of the Neuse is located in a wooded area near the park office. There are 12 sites with electrical hookups: sites 1 to 6, 8, 10, 12, 28, 30 and 32 (30 and 50 amp service is offered).According to the press release by Ken Conners, Park officials talked about the new building, followed by several comments from contractors that built the building. Seven Springs Mayor Steven Potter made a few comments on behalf of the Town of Seven Springs.
