FOREST CITY, Iowa and ELKHART, Ind. - Winnebago Industries announced that it will be working closely with the RVing Accessibility Group to provide enhanced RV opportunities for the mobility impaired. Winnebago’s Forza 34T and the Adventurer 30T 2020 AE models, on display at the Elkhart Open House, represent the company’s 2020 Accessibility-Enhanced (AE) vehicles, the work of Winnebago’s Specialty Vehicles Division. "We are always looking for new and creative ways to serve this important customer base," Jennifer Butters, sales manager for the Specialty Vehicle Division, said in a press release. "The goal of formalizing this product line is to normalize the process of having an accessibility-enhanced RV in stock for dealers.”
The RVing Accessibility Group’s co-founder Mark Douglass, a professional Accessiologist (Accessibility Specialist) with over 20 years of hands-on experience as a disabled RV traveler, said, "I am thrilled to be working closely with the Winnebago Industries Specialty Vehicles Division to bring further awareness to accessibility and RV travel. I have a passion for providing travelers and their caregivers with relevant and accurate information about RVing and this partnership will help bring this messaging to an even wider audience." Currently, Stoltzfus RV, US Adventure RV, and Lazydays RV offer retail sales of Winnebago AE models while rentals are available from Brambillas, Inc. in Shakopee, MN, and Fraserway RV, with locations across Canada.
