Wicked Local Reports On Suffolk Student That Is Using Crowdsourcing Campaigns To Fund His Own Startup Company
Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts, has been encouraging their students to launch crowdsourcing campaigns in order to fund their own startup companies. That is exactly what one of their students, Chuck Gibson, has achieved thanks to this course. He is now a proud owner of a company called Wicked Fisha.
As Wicked Local relates in their article: "While a few other universities are discussing crowdsourcing as part of traditional course content, the real-world approach to this course makes it different," said management and entrepreneurship professor Jenni Dinger. "Suffolk students in this class are learning how to turn their business ideas into action, and they are going after the funding to support those enterprises."
