Louisville Business First Reports On The Late Muhammad Ali's 2005 Winnebago Motorhome That Went Up For Auction
Recently, the 2005 Winnebago motorhome that used to be owned by the famous boxing icon Muhammad Ali was taken into auction for bidding. However, the bids only came up to $22,500 while its new owner, John Bennett, was hoping for $45,000. For this reason he did not sell the motorhome and will be holding on to it until further notice.
As Louisville Business First writer David A. Mann relates in his article: "Clearly there was money in the room," David Morton said. Morton suspects the vehicle didn't catch the attention of Ali collectors before the auction. He didn't know it was there until Friday, well after the three-day auction had started, and he didn't have much time to alert media to its presence.
