With smaller trailers and luxury campers leading the way, the fusion and compactability of vehicles continues to evolve with the Terrier from the Ford division in Germany. Many design elements for trailers actually begin in the European Theater before making their way to the US.
Henryk Zientek of The Hudderfield Daily Examiner relates in his article: "The Terrier’s continental debut follows news that Wellhouse Leisure has begun production of left hand-drive (LHD) models for its first export order – to Ford Switzerland.
Wellhouse Leisure was the first campervan manufacturer in the UK to launch a conversion of the new Ford Transit Custom. It worked closely with Ford during its development and since then to develop a retail network of selected Ford dealers across the UK and mainland Europe."
