Salt Lake Tribune Reports On Cat Adventure Enthusiasts Like Ken Lambrecht & Michele Lanza Who Are Loving Their Pet's Company Outdoors
Who said cats are indoor pets? Many cat lovers and adventure enthusiasts are finding ways to be able to take their furry friends out into the center of the action. Some cats are being leash trained, yet some cats are well enough on their own and follow their owners. Laura Moss created a website and wrote a book specifically about cats and their outdoor experiences with owners.
Salt Lake Tribune writer Leanne Italie relays in her article: "As with humans, sometimes adventure catting is about the gear. A good place to start is figuring out what kind of harness your cat will feel most comfortable in." For Craig Armstrong of Salt Lake City, acclimating his cat to the outdoors has been successful. When rappelling, Millie perches on his shoulders, her harness secured to safety lines.
