FWC Reports On A Job Announcement For Its Agency, Working To Develop A Rad Range Of Communications And Marketing Campaigns In The St. Petersburg Area.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is seeking an information specialist in St. Petersburg, FL. The candidate will be in position to provide a broad range of communications and marketing expertise to the FWC’s Fish and Wildlife Research Institute. The will be able to make a difference and help others by sharing news and important research done in efforts of conserving our environment and animal species native to Florida. Desired qualifications include a bachelor's degree, preferably in communications, marketing, English or natural sciences with strong writing and editing skills. Candidate should be fluent in AP style.
The successful candidate's responsibilities will entail but are not limited to: 1) Writing, editing, and coordinating content for monthly, quarterly and annual publications; 2) Edits and develops content for internal/external websites, reviews analytics; 3) Develop and maintain relationships with FWC staff, stakeholders and partner agencies; 4) Coordinates filming schedules with staff; films and edits videos; among other things.
