The National Assoc. of RV Parks & Campgrounds (ARVC) recently announced robust, industry-specific learning certificate programs. Currently, ARVC offers three certificate programs at the National School of RV Park and Campground Management: Outdoor Hospitality Generalist (OHG), Outdoor Hospitality Management (OHM), and Outdoor Hospitality Professional (OHP).
According to a press release, each certificate program is designed to help learners develop five key competencies, each one customized to meet the stage the individual is at in their industry career. These five competencies are brand management, leadership, HR management, business management and practices, and site and facility management. Each play a crucial role in the success of any business. Rather than merely covering general business practices, ARVC’s certificate programs are industry-specific, meaning that learners will benefit from real-life examples and the expertise of industry professionals to gain a clear understanding of how each of these topics specifically impacts RV parks and campgrounds.
