DENVER, Colo. - At the Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo (OHCE), the annual conference of the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC), held this year in Knoxville, Tenn., the association announced its choices for 2019’s best parks and camping organizations. These parks represent the pinnacle of the industry, according to Paul Bambei, president and CEO of ARVC, who said in a press release, “These parks are not only wonderful destinations with fantastic amenities, but more importantly the owners and staff at these parks continually provide over-the-top customer service.”
ARVC Park of the Year awards are given in four categories, depending on park size. This year’s winner in the Mega category is Lakewood Camping Resort, located in Myrtle Beach, SC, which impressed judges with its innovative use of technology to create a safe and relaxed environment, along with its outstanding marketing efforts to build a loyal base.
