Please note that due to the partial federal government shutdown, the announcement of more recalls may be forthcoming.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reports a wide range of recalls currently underway affecting recreational vehicles and towables by a number of manufacturers, including a widespread defect in trailer axles used by many companies that may have insufficiently greased inner hub bearings, leading to failure. Owners who believe they may be affected by these recalls or other issues may contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to Safercar.gov.
Airstream Recall: 31 2019 Airstream Interstate 19 motorhomes. 150 amp fuses may have been used for the coach battery fuses instead of 100 amp fuses, potentially allowing the battery cables to be overloaded and overheat, increasing the risk of fire. Dealers will remove the 150 amp fuses and install 100 amp fuses, free of charge. Airstream customer service: 1-877-596-6505 or 1-937-596-6111, extensions 7401 or 7411.

Dealers will inspect and repair the hubs and bearings, as necessary, free of charge. Cruiser customer service: 1-574-206-7920.
